Studio M Interior Design | 20 Year Anniversary

This past Saturday our firm, Studio M Interior Design, celebrated its 20th anniversary and lets just say there was no shortage of fun! With over 150 guests in attendance, we rocked the night 1991 style! Here are some photos from the evening:

The clock struck 7pm and our guests started to arrive at our clients 10,000 SF beautiful water-front home on Davis Islands, which provided the perfect backdrop!! It was go time…As they strolled into the grand foyer (25′ ceilings) they were immediately greeted by a beautiful arrangement of flowers and candles. We wanted the evening to be fun yet intimate so we carried this theme through out the home!

Our main man, Chef Will, from Subzero-Wolf cooked up a storm and served some of the most magnificent food. The menu was packed, but here were some my favs: canjun fried pawns, smoked chicken wellington, blackened scallops with 3 pepper marmalade, and the ever popular rosemary lamb lollipops…delicioso!!

For those who had a sweet tooth, there were more desserts than Willy Wonka himself could have cooked up! I mean there were cake pops, pumpkin round cakes with cream cheese frosting, homemade oreos, peanut butter shots, mini brownies, and the list goes on! Each guest also got a goodie bag with their very own Studio M cookie…Michelle was in charge of the desserts which explains the mountain of goodness! All of the desserts were perfectly prepared and delivered by All the Buzz Cookies…They make THE best desserts!!

While there were many highlights, the best part was getting to mingle with both past and current clients, friends, and family. We feel SO blessed to have the best clients… So from all of us at Studio M we would like to thank each one you…You guys rock!

Keeping up with our 90′s motif we had 90′s music jamming inside, while a band kept it live outside! We also thought it would be fun to have trivia questions from 1991…It seems like just yesterday that Nirvana dropped “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” Oh how time flies!

As the night began to wind down, we had one more surprise up our sleeves and lets just say it was hot!! The wonderful Robie “The Fire Starter” Flaye did a magnificent fire show while the band played “Come on Baby Light My Fire” by the Doors. Not only was the show AWESOME but the song choice was perfecto!

Before the night ended we wanted to get a group photo of the Studio M team! We absolutely adore each member of our staff and look forward to growing the company with each one of them…We wished that both Jade and Lisa could have joined us but they both had family commitments which prevented them from making it…We understand:)

We feel so lucky to have the best group of clients, staff, friends, and family all who made this evening truly special! A special thank you to our clients, Joel and Shannon for opening up your home to us! There could not have been a better place for us to celebrate 20 years… We love you both!!
