It’s a tradition that’s as old as time. We do it every year, each of us in our own little way. It’s time to bring in the Christmas tree and decorate it in the most outlandish fashion. Your tree should reflect your style, whether you want to overload it with trinkets and accessories or go bare and feature none at all. I think the “less is more” look is slowly starting to become my favorite, though it may be credited to my limited stash of ornaments this year. I must admit, the tree of wall art certainly caught my eye and held my attention.

Anyone can buy ornaments, but it’s just so much more fun when you design them yourself! For a couple of bucks at the dollar store you can purchase your own clear ornaments and jazz them up however you choose. Stuff them with paint and get them to match your décor or include fun little inserts to add a punch of personality and a touch of whimsy.

When it comes to your tree, it’s not always so much as what’s on it as what’s under it. With the right wrapping paper, you can make any of your gift receivers fall in love with your present before they even open the box. Using ordinary materials from around the house, you can stylishly wrap your boxes. The photographed gifts are my favorite!
