Functional Floring
By: Jon Peters
Recently, one of our most favorite bloggers, Georgette Mosley, accepted a position over at Flor. If you haven’t heard of Flor, it’s one of the best flooring options out there, combining functionality and beautiful aesthetics to create a unique look that lasts. First of all, Flor comes in an array of patterns and styles, from union jacks, to multicolored stripes and even cowhide. The functionality comes in the form of easily replaceable 50-square cm tiles (perfect for pet owners or wine lovers, or both!) that can be swapped out to create a fresh, lasting look until your next remodel. Also, if you ever decide to redecorate, you can send back your old Flor squares to be recycled and reused in future tiles. Sustainable chic!
There’s practically no limit on the number of applications that Flor can be used in, from rugs and runners to full-on wall to wall flooring, helping you transform your old, bland space into a customized work of art. No need to permanently tack down your new tiles to your existing flooring, instead use Flor’s patented Dot adhesive which attaches each Flor tile together until it needs to be replaced. We love the functionality and creativeness that Flor uses to create their modern take on traditional carpet, and couldn’t be happier for Georgette! You’ve gotta check them out over at Flor.com
