Boca Restaurant~South Tampa Hot Spot

I can’t tell you how many times hubby and I have passed by,Boca, this unassuming new restaurant as we headed home from Greenwise Publix down Platt St. Later I saw a write up in the Sarasota paper addressing RNC attendees putting Boca in a top 10 list that included the Refinery, Café DuFrain, and Sidebern’s – that’s when I realized I needed to move this up on my ‘must visit’ Tampa eateries!

As soon as we entered I knew we were in for a treat. First off it was buzzing with an uber fabulous clientele totally decked out in their trendy finds.

I loved the fact that this one time gas station communicated it’s organic, earthy approach as soon as you hit the door. I drank in all the amazing textures leather, brick, exposed beam (and an amazing mimosa or 2)!

The menu was a true delight and after pondering over … I finally opted for a salad and Chris his usual burger (look out DuFrain, we might have another neighborhood fave)! If you are there at brunch or just want to hang on the couch with a coffee you must try the breakfast breads… sounds simple right? Far from it…several sinful slices of baguette toasted to perfection, raspberry & strawberry preserves, house made peanut butter and the most indulgent peach preserves ever produced anywhere –really!

If you need to take something home, they have a small market of some of their finest offerings. We simply cannot wait to get back for dinner!!

Must try ~ signature cocktails!
