Miami Destinations | Miami Tour

There is absolutely no place in the world like Miami. This becomes clear when driving along Collins Avenue in South Beach, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, hotels and nightclubs lining the street. Lights are bright, music is loud and cars are barely able to maneuver through the crowds. It is easy to be overwhelmed by the commotion, but just on the other side of the street is where the white sand beach meets the crystal blue Atlantic Ocean. It is the ultimate contrast. Peaceful and chaotic at the same time. That is how to best describe this city in South Florida that we at SmartFlyer love so much.

South Beach | Restaurants | Hotel

Whether you see yourself making a quick trip in and out of Miami Beach, spending more time on the outskirts of the city, or taking the time to explore every store on Lincoln Road, we’ve got the perfect day laid out for you. Start off on Lincoln Road before it gets too crowded. Some may call it a tourist trap but there’s no substitute for the energy that fills this street. Take in the salty ocean air as you window shop, and don’t miss Alchemist, one of Lincoln Road’s few high-end designer shops. Labels like Dior Homme, Rick Owens and Givenchy fill the racks of this trendy boutique.

Asian Fusion | Miami Restaurant

Tucked away on the quiet section of Lincoln Road is Altamare, an Italian restaurant serving some of the freshest seafood in Miami. Sit outside and enjoy the grilled octopus served over warm farro and chorizo paired with a glass of pinot grigio. If you’re in the mood for sushi, head to Zuma, an Asian fusion restaurant at the Epic Hotel in Downtown Miami. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu here, but the miso black cod is our favorite!

Miami | Clothes | Shopping

One of the best-kept secrets of Miami is C. Madeleine’s, a freestanding vintage clothing store on Biscayne Boulevard. Don’t expect to find worn down bargain garments here. This warehouse is filled with one of a kind pieces from designers like Chanel, Herve Leger and Alaia. When shopping, be on the lookout for Michael Kors and Rachel Zoe. We’ve heard this store is their favorite too.

To get a true feel for Miami, we recommend chartering a boat for the day. There are so many incredible spots to see from the water, be it the luxurious resort and club of Fisher Island or the mansions on Star, Palm and Hibiscus Islands. The city has so much to offer and the places we’ve listed here are just the beginning.
