Every year at auto shows around the world, car manufacturers unveil their latest and greatest driving machines for people to gawk at. If you’ve ever been to big auto shows like the ones in NYC, DC, Geneva, or Paris, then you know how exciting it can be when a new model is unveiled for the first time. Even if they aren’t in production yet, concept cars are like a futuristic work of art at the MOMA. After adding some final touches and tweaking, concept cars eventually go into production to make our driving dreams a reality. For instance, the Fisker Karma (further down) is finally available for sale, and the BMW i8 (right below) will soon become available in 2013. Auto shows are a great way to catch up on contemporary car designs, while accomplishing the best of window shopping at the same time! Check out some of my most favorite recent concept cars below, and hopefully we’ll be seeing more of them in the new year.
