Going Green
By: Jon Peters
The color green is fresh and energizing, making it a perfect color choice for home interiors. Thanks to its versatility and visual appeal, it can fit in perfectly in practically any room of your house. Anything from an accent wall or table setting, to real plants or a funky rug can help to keep your space feeling tranquil and well-designed. Some designers may choose to use the Pantone-approved color in a bold or contemporary way (such as Studio M’s Signature Place condo design below), in addition to being utilized in a safe and soothing traditional space. I’ve been seeing this trend everywhere lately, and green can complement an array of other colors (like Kelly Wearstler’s chic brass library stairs below) to make it really stand out. The beauty of green is that it’s the epitome of versatility, so the sky is the limit! Become enamored in a world of green below.
