Basically everyone has a favorite store, but have you ever thought about why you actually love shopping there? Retail spaces are all about visual stimulation (or purposeful lack thereof) in order to create an aesthetic or vibe that coordinates with the brand’s image. Think about the interiors at Tory Burch (orange & gold) or Henri Bendel (brown and ivory). Conversely, the Apple store has a deliberately sleek and minimalistic look to its retail space. Whether you’re trying to create an inviting atmosphere (because let’s face it: you want people to stay and spend more money) or just trying to bring attention to your products, a little setup is in order. Here are a few of my favorite retail store designs that instantly catch the eye to form a creative and unique shopping atmosphere. Enjoy!
