Creative Workspaces
By: Jon Peters
Raise your hand if you absolutely love your office building! Well, to be honest, the office at Studio M is pretty cool since it’s actually a Victorian style home from the early 1900′s, but check out these über-creative workspaces from around the world that take “office space” to another level. I think my favorite design is Saatchi & Saatchi’s office in Bangkok, Thailand. They have a vehicle theme that carries throughout, with tires attached to desks, a bus-shaped reception area, and small seating areas that remind you of a train car. Skype also has a nontraditional, yet creatively stimulating, workspace located in Sweden. I just love the chairs, lighting, and use of geometric patterns and shapes for their home office. The thought of a visually creative workspace appeals to most of us I think, not only would people love coming to work at the office, but also work production would be up because of the stimulating surroundings. What visually-stimulating must-have would you love to see at your office?
