Pantone 2013 Color of the Year

It’s that time of year again when Pantone, the worldwide authority on color, announces its color of the year. This year it’s all about Emerald green which Pantone describes as “Lively. Radiant. Lush… A color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony.” Not only is this color great for interior design, but expect to see this color trend to expand into fashion, beauty, and other aspects of everyday life and design. The follow-up to 2012′s color of the year (Tangerine Tango) is different because emerald exudes luxury and richness, while Tangerine was bold and energizing. Keep an eye out for this color trend, and be sure to embrace the emerald in 2013!
