Studio M, a Tampa Florida interior design firm, recently participated in an Extreme Home Makeover organized by the Shelton Quarles Foundation. The non-profit charity supports single mothers in the Tampa Bay area and has now completely renovated five homes as part of their Home Blitz event. Shelton Quarles, a former Tampa Bay Buccaneer and Pro Bowl player, started the foundation because he too was raised by a single mother.
Studio M has proudly participated in all five of the home transformations and look forward to designing next years home. Michelle Jennings Wiebe, the firm's president and principal designer, said "we are honored to work with not only The Shelton Quarles Foundation but with each family." She continues, "They allow us into their homes for two weeks and trust that we will transform their home."
The Lopez's were this years deserving family. They could not believe their eyes when they first walked into their new home. With tears of joy, all they could do was hug and thank not only Shelton but everyone involved in this magical day.
